I love the pocket version 133 x 83 mm as it actually fits in your pant or shirt pocket unlike most so-called pocket notebooks. Nice creamy paper, rounded corners. Wouldn’t mind more colors and writing free inside covers so can be used for jotting important numbers and such.
In every sense this notebook is great for the pocket. It’s a good size, has a beautiful writing surface for any pen and is at a far fairer price than its competitors’ products. How much extra does an elastic band and an envelope in the back cover really cost, anyway?
I’ll certainly be buying more of these in the future.

There’s nothing quite like an Alwych. With its flexible, waterproof cover and strong binding, it’s the perfect notebook for outdoor people. For me, the A618/80 is the ideal size for the pocket – not bulky like other brands. Highly recommended. Made in Scotland, too. More people should discover Alwych!

Perfect for the shirt. A smaller companion for quick notes I can expand upon and transfer later to my 7×4 1/2. Great notebooks.
Good size for carrying in the pocket. Very tough and hard wearing. I recently filled my previous Alwych notebook after 20 years, recording field notes.

Quality uncanny. Nevertheless the price tag is a bit high. If manufacturing procedure optimised it might be possible to have a more appealing price tag for standardisation across the construction industry.
Great quality and fantastic size for the pocket!
A cracking little notebook, I used my previous one almost daily for 6 months until all pages used. Apart from a bit of tape on the spine it survived intact and would have gone on much longer had I not run out of pages!

Perfect for the pocket.
Have used Moleskine upto now when traveling for my travel log. I am looking forward to travelling again when allowed. As has been mentioned in other comments a pocket in the cover would be useful for tickets etc. However I can live without it. Finally it is a Scottish business so it important to support you for future.

Thoroughly recommended little notebook, they last me about 5 months of daily use without a sign of falling apart. A notebook from a high street retailer lasted me for 1 day before splitting from its spine!!

This is the perfect notebook for travel and field work, having exactly the right dimensions for a jacket or shirt pocket with enough pages to last a season. The binding of these notebooks holds up even in very cold weather, and pages recover well without hopelessly sticking together after a soaking. For me, they are the right balance of writing comfort, resilience, and tasteful appearance. The additional cost to ship these books abroad has been worth it.
