The Denbigh Commercial Rulled Book was originally a product of Waverley Stationery, Edinburgh (remember the Owl, the Pussycat and the Waverley Pen) and has been around for over 100 years. They are traditional strong well-made books with section-sewn pages printed with faint blue rullings on quality opaque paper and bound into rigid case-bound covers.

Lovely notebooks, as always, excellent for shopping lists and other house notes. Just waiting for the waterproof kind I always buy for garden notes (as favoured by famous gardener Christopher Lloyd) – wonderfully useful.

While my first love is the Alwych, the Denbigh is a suitable second choice for my journaling needs. Looking forward when both will be available once again.

Great products with swift delivery.
The notebook itself is very nice, the boards don’t warp easily, the imprints are deep and the paper well pasted, however when it arrived the corners were slightly worn, but I assume from storage.
As for the paper it is great for pencil and ballpoint, using anything wetter than a gel pen may bleed when writing.
Overall for my purposes it’s a wonderful little book for travelling as I write with pencil.
